    TORONTO - The nominations for the first Canadian Screen Awards were announced Tuesday. A look at the nominees:

    Best film director: Michael Dowse, "Goon;" Xavier Dolan, "Laurence Anyways;" Deepa Mehta, "Midnight's Children;" Kim Nguyen, "Rebelle;" Bernard Émond, "Tout ce que tu possèdes" (All That You Possess).
